1) used for telling someone not to worry or not to be upset about something

Never mind – you're all right now.

2) used for emphasizing your opinions or feelings about something

I'm sick of snow already, never mind by the end of the winter.

3) used for saying that the time when something is wanted, needed, or possible has gone

"Do you still want that shopping done?" "No, never mind – it's too late now."
